Product video on the Gigaset L800HX smart speaker launched

To give a better idea of what possibilities the new product offers, Gigaset Corporate Communications has published a new video illustrating the use and advantages of the powerful speaker with its wide-band voice transmission in the form of a story.
“Communication using moving images is becoming increasingly important,” says Raphael Dörr, SVP Corporate Communications & Investor Relations at Gigaset. “We have been applying our storytelling approach to our video content for a long time now. In connection with our smart speaker, it was especially exciting to develop a new story in the household setting, since that’s where the L800HX is at home.”

Telephony in the 21st century
The Gigaset smart speaker is a DECT phone and smart speaker in one. You initiate calls via the connected base station simply by issuing a command: “Alexa, call 0171 123 456.” If your contact list is synchronized with your Amazon account, all you need to say is “Alexa, call Tom.” You can also take calls, end or refuse them and make internal calls – all with just one sentence. All that is needed is for the Gigaset smart speaker to be connected to the power supply, the WiFi network, a DECT base station or a DECT-capable router and with Alexa and for the microphone to be switched on.
