Gigaset wins expert-Star Award 2021 in silver in the “Telecommunications” category

September 2021 Published by Raphael DoerrAt the general meeting of the Expert purchasing cooperation last weekend, Gigaset was presented with the expert-Star Award 2021 in silver in the “Telecommunications” category, which recognises the partnership-based cooperation with the shareholders of the purchasing cooperation, their employees and the contacts at Expert headquarters.
“We are all very proud of this award, because something like this is only possible if we act as a team flexibly, in partnership and with full commitment. We succeeded in doing that, which is confirmed by this great award,” says Clemens Lapawczyk, VP Sales Germany at Gigaset. “The decisive factors were the quality of our support, the product range, and the partnership-based approach – especially during the Corona pandemic.”
The Expert purchasing cooperation is one of the central sales channels for Gigaset products and an exceptionally committed partner, especially for Gigaset smartphones. Accordingly, the perfect trade fair appearance was important for Gigaset – on site at Expert’s annual general meeting. At this event, Gigaset made its first appearance with its new stand concept for trade fairs, which is based on themed islands with large-scale illuminated posters. The motifs of the backlit posters also feature iconography and images of the Gigaset brand world from the online presence at expert.de, creating the perfect link between online and offline. This makes it easier to present new products and product focuses than with the old furniture system.
The health of the visitors was protected by a strict hygiene concept consisting of the 3G rule, the possibility of testing on site, mandatory masks, Luca app registration in the catering area and wide walkways. Here, too, the new airy Gigaset stand concept with ample space between the theme islands fitted into the requirement profile of the current trade fair.
Topics presented at the Expert AGM included the current cashback promotion for the Gigaset GX290 plus, a preview of the next Gigaset smartphone, the Gigaset Smart Doorbell ONE X, phones for the older generation and a new DECT handset for B2C that will be launched soon.
