Who are they talking about? New GS280 product video published

Gigaset has been operating in the smartphone arena with devices that boast attractive value for money since 2016. It then caused a huge stir in 2018 by making its smartphones in Germany – to an enthusiastic reception from customers, press and experts on account of the USP, sustainability, jobs and many other factors. GS185 was the name of the first smartphone “Made in Germany.”

Gigaset recently presented its second in the shape of the GS280. Gigaset Corporate Communications has created a new product video to flank its launch.

“We mainly aim to tell a story in our communication,” says Raphael Dörr, SVP Corporate Communications & Investor Relations. “Since social media work at Gigaset is the direct responsibility of Gigaset Corporate Communications, we wanted to design a product video that above all performs well in Web 2.0. To present products there, you mainly need emotional or unusual stories. It’s usually not enough just to highlight the features.”

The upshot is a product video with a twist. The story takes an unexpected turn – and precisely that is the charm of the video, which has already been called more than 800,000 times on YouTube …
