Company situation
Lilian Labs GmbH was founded in 2016 by the physicists Dr. Sebastian Döring, Dr.-Ing. Alexander Rohr and Dr.-Ing. Torsten Rabe, whose research forms the stable foundation for developing ever better solutions and new technologies for advanced water analyses. One main focus is on digitalization in development, in order to provide a reliable, efficient and sustainable solution for customers. The LILIAN (=Liquid Light Analytics) system comprises the LILIAN measuring device with SensoSticks, the LILIAN App and the LILIAN Manager. The system measures the specific water quality simply and accurately in four steps.
Technical equipment
The Gigaset GX290 PRO has no problem with water, dirt and shocks. The robust outdoor smartphone was designed specifically for use in challenging environments. The bright display is also easy to read in daylight, and with its exceptionally powerful battery the device can also cope easily with an entire day full of measurements. Those were the main reasons why Lilian Labs opted for the GX290 PRO.
Customizability also played an important role. At its own workshops in Bocholt in North Rhine-Westphalia, Gigaset can engrave the back of its smartphones, if so desired – in the case of Lilian Labs with the company logo. And Gigaset can also make adjustments to the software for its devices even for small lot sizes. Lilian Labs received the GX290 PRO with preinstalled software for integration into the app-controlled LILIAN measurement system – specifically the LILIAN App and Lilian Manager with all approvals. Upon delivery, basic services like Bluetooth and location determination should be activated, but no Google account set up. As requested, the display goes off after 10 minutes instead of just one, and the smartphones for Lilian Labs come with their own screen background.
