The top 100 office products in 2019 – and the Gigaset T480HX is one of them

14. March 2019 Published by Raphael Doerr

The innovative desktop phone Gigaset T480HX has been voted one of the 100 most important office products of 2019 by the trade magazine Das Büro. With this accolade, its editorial team acknowledges the innovative character of the product, which boasts the form factor and convenience of a desktop phone, but can be used as flexibly as a cordless telephone.

It’s almost become a tradition. The editorial team of Das Büro scrutinizes more than a thousand office solutions every year. Since 2004, the magazine has presented the “Office Products of the Year” at the start of every year. A special issue to accompany that has been published since 2016. The editorial team arrives at its ranking independently and reviews products across all industries and categories: not just office furniture, technology and supplies, but also lighting and acoustics solutions as well as coffee machines, for example. The selection should show what is especially recommended for office work in both the narrower and broader sense.

Das Büro Top 100 LogoOne of them and even right up among the top products is the Gigaset T480HX. It ranked 26th overall and fourth in the ICT product category. The overview can be found here. That’s a big success for Gigaset. “We’re delighted that the editorial team appreciated our innovative approach and rewarded our T480HX,” says Anne Dickau, SVP Products at Gigaset.

Gigaset has taken communication at the home office to a new level with the T480HX. The cordless desktop phone connects up to any DECT-capable router, thus achieving certified HD voice quality. With its clear display, eight speed dial keys and headset connection, it is ideal for work at the desk. Embodying state-of-the-art communications technologies, it gives anyone at the home office the feeling of being a whole lot closer to their colleagues in the office.

Incidentally, the T480HX relieves users of one technical worry from the word go: Like all models in the HX universal handset series, it supports the DECT and CAT-iq 2.0 wireless standard and is compatible with all common routers, including Telekom’s Speedport and AVM’s FRITZ!Box.
