The lettering, which was initially intended to warn consumers against counterfeit or inferior goods, developed in subsequent years into a seal that indicates good quality. Today, “Made in Germany” is a label that many companies attach great importance to. Gigaset, too, is proud of its “Made in Germany” products and looks back on its more than 170-year history – from the invention of the Siemens pointer telegraph to the development of the quality and sustainability strategy that the “Made in Germany” label stands for at Gigaset today.
